Time to play with clay

All our pottery and painting classes are relaxed and easy to follow, but above all are seriously fun. After all, how often are you encouraged to actually get your hands dirty? Drawing on our extensive educational experience we also understand there’s nothing worse than a teacher standing at the front of the class blabbering on and on while spurting out terms you’ve never heard. That’s really not our style! Instead we encourage our students to get stuck right in then guide them as they go along.

You’ll find a quick overview of our most popular classes, parties and events below. Got something unique in mind? Let’s Talk

Children's Pottery

Our family-friendly kids activities are a great way to learn new craft skills and cut down screen time. And as former teachers we know how to cunningly get across valuable learning points in a way that will connect with your little potters. We mix up our activities on a weekly basis to keep things interesting, covering everything from clay modelling to pottery painting. It also goes without saying all our classes will follow the latest Covid-19 guidelines. We also offer the option of hiring out the entire studio for your own family activity or party.

Adult Classes

Our evening pottery course for beginners provides the perfect chance to unwind, socialise and let your creativity shine. Over the course of five weeks you’ll pick up a host of new skills and techniques while learning about all the basics of clay making at a relaxed pace that works for you. We also keep our class sizes intentionally small, as we find this creates a more relaxed learning environment where people aren’t afraid to ask any questions. It also means more one-to-one support. Win-win!

Our adult pottery course runs for five weeks on Thursday evenings, 6pm to 8pm.

A few kind words

Fantastic accessible little studio for you to have a go at pottery or to pick up a lovely gift. Naomi makes the classes interesting and a safe place to be.

Jane Day

Only just discovered this place a friend sent me a link to the oogie boogie lantern making event and me and my son just had to go, we’ve attended another class since and loved painting our makes at home. Highly recommended
